- Transmission Gear design - Responsibilities: • Work on design & Development of Gear sets - Helical , planetary and bevel gear • Work on Gear micro geometry, Heat treatment & correction factors • Work on transfer case, propeller & side shaft of the Cars • Work on engineering change management by using Daimler tools like SAMARGD, DIALOG,ACM & SRM • Work on e-differentials design and concept • Work on packaging of driveline components internal and external, at vehicle level • Work on theoretical calculations and tolerance stack up • Work on 3D model and drawing of Gears, Shafts & driveline components • Work on variant management • Work on VA-VE projects • Work with supplier integration and development • Maintain the CAD data with SMARAGD (Engineering Client)

Transmission Gear design - Skills: -- • Good Know how on Automatic Transmission component Interfaces and design • Experience in design & development of Gears, Shafts and propeller shaft • Experience in 3D model and 2D of Gears, shafts and propeller shaft • Should have good knowledge about Forging, Casting and various manufacturing processes • Experience in engineering change management • Experience in packaging of propeller shaft system at vehicle level • Should have knowledge about Team Center and knowledge about SMARAGD (Engineering Client) will be added advantage • Good communication skill & High motivation to work in a team and to contribute with positive attitude • Capable of working independently on a given task • Stakeholder mgt. skills (Discussion with Plant, R&D, Suppliers etc.) • German Language is an added advantage
