Task Description
General correlation and collaboration with peers and Commodity Groups; Prepare relevant data and support Supplier Part Release Process
reporting (SPRP); contribute to Continuous Improvement Programs (CIP).
Supplier Evaluation and Release / ABC Risk Classification of Parts; Prepare for and participate in source evaluations. Plausibility
check and development measures verify together with audit leader and, if necessary with 3rd parties.
Supplier development / Tier-n supplier management with suppliers on advanced quality planning for selected projects; Support problem resolution activities onsite at supplier plants when quality issues arise.
Preventive countermeasure setup and project maturity management with the state-of-the -art quality tools, organize and conduct “Round Tables” with cross-functional teams for early identification of maturity problems through mandatory and active involvement of suppliers. Assessment of quality-related parameters along the product creation process and result communication with management. Control implementation of defined corrective measures and monitor their effectiveness together with suppliers.
Release supplier production process and parts, coordinate and execute process audits as a responsible lead auditor, complete audit report based on audit findings, control improvement measures and monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions.
Set up sampling schedule and get suppliers' commitment for defined milestones. Ensure supplier smooth and stable ramp-up. Perform, and if necessary coordinate external sampling for dimensions and material properties according MBST.
Work with cross-cultural teams according to follow published work procedures and mechanisms.
Provide lessons learned from current running series to improve future projects; During development phase coordinate product quality requirement and act as MQI (Module Quality Engineer) where appropriate.
