ServiceNow Senior Architect – Job Description

• Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and governance of the ServiceNow platform across Customer Instances (dealers/external partners) and Enterprise Instances (internal business units, applications, assets, workflows).
• Own the CMDB strategy, data models, service mapping, integrations, and configuration governance to ensure accuracy, compliance, and platform health.
• Drive technical leadership for all DevOps activities, including CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, versioning, and best-practice development standards.
• Evaluate, refine, and steer new demands and enhancement requests, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security policies, and platform roadmap.
• Provide architectural oversight for modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SecOps, CSM, and custom applications.
• Lead solution design for onboarding new applications, teams, and customers onto the ServiceNow platform with scalable, reusable frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Security, Business, Platform Operations) to deliver robust workflows, integrations, and service automations.
• Ensure performance, availability, and reliability of both customer and enterprise ServiceNow instances.
• Define coding standards, review technical designs, and guide development teams on platform best practices and architectural patterns.
• Drive continuous improvement of the platform including upgrades, patching strategy, health checks, and technical debt reduction.
• Act as the primary technical advisor to leadership, translating business needs into scalable architecture solutions.
• Partner with vendors/partners to align on design standards, delivery quality, and future expansion needs.
• Mentor internal teams, build capability, and ensure strong knowledge management and documentation discipline.
