The Senior Manager - Business Development is a pivotal role responsible for driving significant business growth by directly engaging with corporate clients and organizations, managing fleet financing solutions, and overseeing commercial vehicle financing for Mercedes-Benz Mobility (Thailand). This role is critical in identifying new opportunities, building strong strategic partnerships, and ensuring the achievement of ambitious business targets through a direct sales approach.
- Corporate & Direct Sales Strategy:
- Develop and execute comprehensive direct sales strategies to acquire new corporate clients and organizations for company financing products.
- Proactively identify, approach, and engage with top-tier companies and large organizations across various industries in Thailand.
- Lead the entire sales cycle from lead generation, initial contact, proposal development, negotiation, to deal closure for direct corporate accounts.
- Fleet & Commercial Vehicle Financing:
- Drive business volume and market share within the fleet financing segment, offering tailored solutions to corporate fleets.
- Develop and manage financing programs specifically for commercial vehicles, expanding company's presence in this sector.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes within corporate, fleet, and commercial vehicle financing to identify growth opportunities and refine strategies.
- Business Target Achievement:
- Accountable for achieving and exceeding assigned business targets for corporate sales, fleet financing, and commercial vehicle financing.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on sales performance, pipeline status, and key performance indicators (KPIs) regularly.
- Implement effective strategies to optimize business penetration and maximize profitability within the corporate segment.
- Relationship Management & Service Excellence:
- Offer company products & services to partners & customers.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by understanding client needs and providing tailored, value-added financial solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in business development or corporate sales, with a proven track record in direct sales to large organizations.
- Demonstrated experience in the automotive finance industry, particularly with fleet financing or commercial vehicle financing, is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial products and services, including various financing structures.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills (both Thai and English, written and verbal).
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships at an executive level
