Education
- Bachelors or Masters of Engineering in Mechatronics, Electrical or Electronics stream
Experience
- 12-16 years of experience in Software Validation of eDrive software or Systems in XiL (HiL/ SiL) including people management
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the Drive SW Validation (HiL) team for digital validation
- Ensure the testing and delivery of software releases on HiL systems according to Release Plan
- Ensure the availability and management of required resources to meet the deliveries
- Coordinate with various stakeholders (internal and external)
- Responsible for People management & career development of the team
- Act as a first point of escalation for all project & business related queries
- As a part of leadership team, ensure alignment & implement project strategy in line with organization strategy
- Lead cross functional activities & collaborate with leadership team as needed
- Flexible to travel globally based on business need to participate in various supplier discussions, technical and management discussion
Skills Required
- Extensive experience in automotive electronics/electrical hardware in loop (HiL) SW validation in an OEM or Tier-1/2 environment
- Expertise in eDrive SW domain (Engine management controllers, Battery controllers and Gateway controllers) with dSPACE tool chain and workflow
- Good know of eDrive software architecture and development process
- Good know-how of ASPICE levels & roles f SWE.5, SWE.6 and SYS.4 and expected deliveries
- Know-how of Car IT Security concepts
- Good experience of various quality standards & practices for HiL testing
- Good know how of Test System know-how and commissioning process
- Atleast 3 -4 years of experience in people management, managing high complexity projects and diverse teams
- Global working experience preferred
- Ability to intervene and resolve conflicts – technical, people and strategy
- Experience working with global /local teams
- Demonstrates good business acumen & strong inter-personal skills
- Knowledge of German language is highly desirable
