Senior Engineer – Virtual Integration (VI)

It is in Body & Comfort E/E domain that we are seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of Senior Engineer – Virtual Integration (VI).
Responsibilities
· Own, maintain and continuously improve the VI platform used by internal engineering teams for build, integration, verification, and validation activities.
· Integrate tools, configurations, dependencies, and environment settings across the software toolchain to provide consistent user experience.
· Support users and stakeholder teams by troubleshooting platform issues, analyzing logs, identifying root causes, and driving sustainable fixes.
· Collaborate with software developers, validation engineers, architects, IT/tool owners, and suppliers to align platform capabilities with project needs.
· Ensure confidentiality, compliance, and secure handling of internal data, tools, and engineering artifacts.
· Bring solution from VI platform to improve application SW development.
Necessary qualification
· Strong hands-on experience in AUTOSAR Classic ECU integration including communication, diagnostics, memory and security stack.
· Strong understanding of AUTOSAR ARXML structure and content.
· Good understanding of build environment tools like Ant, Gradle, Maven, etc.
· Proficiency in scripting or automation languages such as Groovy, Kotlin, Python, PowerShell, Bash, or equivalent.
· Experience with build systems, dependency management, CI/CD pipelines, or automated validation frameworks in Jenkins/Git.
· Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues using logs, configuration files, environment analysis, and structured debugging methods.
· Strong Knowledge on Vector tools like DaVinci Configurator, DaVinci Team, DaVinci Developer, Vector CANoe, etc.
· Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, explain technical constraints and drive issue closure.
· Ownership mindset with attention to quality, maintainability, standardization, and long-term platform sustainability.
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Automotive Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred qualification
· Domain experience in automotive software, embedded systems, AUTOSAR Adaptive, ECU integration, virtual ECU, or system validation.
· Experience with testing tools such as Synopsys TPT.
· Experience in variant coding test strategies in Vector CANoe.
· Exposure to requirements management, test automation, traceability, dashboards, metrics or quality reporting.
· Familiarity with cloud-based development environments, containers, artifact repositories or DevOps infrastructure.
· Ability to mentor junior engineers, conduct technical reviews and drive best-practice adoption across teams.
· Experience working in globally distributed teams and communicating with senior technical stakeholders.
