Task Management
• Monitoring status and progress of work and making day-to-day adjustments in accordance with established priorities, obtaining assistance from Supervisor as needed;
• Estimating and reporting on expected time of work completion and maintaining work records;
• Distributing and balancing workload among employees and assuring timely accomplishment and quality of work
People Supervision & Team Development
• Assisting Supervisor with daily people supervision tasks including but not limited to recruitment, attendance & leave management and LEAD Goal Agreement, Appraisal, and Feedback process;
• Providing necessary performance coaching and feedback to team members;
• Reporting to Supervisor on performance, progression and training needs of team members and on disciplinary issues
• Assisting Supervisor on Section Team Employee Survey follow-ups and team building topics
Training and Coaching to Team Members
• Instructing team members in tasks and job techniques and making available written instructions and reference materials
• Giving on the job training to new team member;
• Improving team know-how, answering questions of team members on procedures, policies, directives, etc.;
Strategic Planning and Direction:
• Define the strategic direction for the navigation function, considering customer needs, market trends, and business goals.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in navigation features and functionalities.
• Stay updated on industry advancements in navigation technologies and incorporate them into the strategic direction.
Requirements Gathering and Management:
• Gather and analyze customer and stakeholder requirements for the navigation function.
• Define functional and non-functional requirements and specifications for navigation features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of requirements and manage changes throughout the development process.
User Experience and Performance Optimization:
• Collaborate with UX designers to create intuitive and user-friendly navigation interfaces.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and continuously improve the navigation function's usability and user satisfaction.
• Define performance goals and metrics for the navigation function, such as accuracy, reliability, and responsiveness.
• Conduct performance testing and validation of navigation features to ensure compliance with established goals and optimize navigation performance.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, product management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in leading a team, emphasizing the development of navigation functions for digital cabin systems.
• Fundamental knowledge in Navigation/Location-based service domain.
• Experience in gathering customer requirements and integrating them into the design and development of navigation features.
• Proficiency in conducting user research, usability testing, and implementing user feedback for enhancing navigation functions.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality navigation functions that align with customer requirements.
• Data-driven mindset, utilizing data to inform decisions and improvements.
• Fundamental knowledge of project management methodologies like project planning and risk analysis.
• Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies, capable of defining concrete user stories for development teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, adept at evaluating complex navigation challenges and proposing innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers.
• Fluency in English.
• Demonstrated self-responsibility, a team player with excellent communication skills.
