Overview:

The SAP S/4 HANA UI UX Work Package Expert role involves hands-on experience in SAP Fiori, S/4HANA UI technologies, and user experience design. The role is also responsible for leading UI/UX work packages, ensuring seamless integration, and delivering high-quality user interfaces for S/4HANA projects. Strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences are essential.

Job Responsibilities:

1.       SAP Fiori:

-          Design, develop, and configure SAP Fiori applications tailored to business requirements, ensuring alignment with SAP best practices.

-          Customize and extend standard SAP Fiori apps using SAPUI5, OData services, and Fiori Elements.

-          Ensure the implementation of responsive, intuitive, and user-friendly Fiori interfaces across devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).

-          Oversee the setup and configuration of the SAP Fiori Launchpad, including catalog, group, and role management.

-          Collaborate with functional and technical teams to integrate Fiori apps with S/4HANA backend systems.

-          Optimize Fiori app performance and troubleshoot issues related to UI rendering, data binding, and navigation.

-          Ensure compliance with SAP security standards for Fiori apps, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.

-          Conduct user training and create documentation for Fiori applications and processes.

-          Stay updated with the latest SAP Fiori innovations, guidelines, and roadmap, and drive their adoption within the organization.

-          Experience in creating and consuming OData services and API’s using RAP Managed and Unmanaged and Custom Entity.

-          Implement SAP Build Work zone using Spaces and Pages.

-          Lead code reviews and enforce quality standards for Fiori app development and deployment.

-          Implement S/4 Hana In-App Extensions and SAPui5 Flexibility.

2.       Understanding SAP S/4HANA UI Options:

-          Evaluate and recommend the most suitable UI technologies for various business scenarios, including SAP Fiori, SAP GUI for HTML, Web Dynpro, and SAP Screen Personas.

-          Knowledge of available UI options for SAP S/4HANA, such as SAP Fiori, SAP GUI, and SAP Screen Personas.

3.       User Experience Design:

-          Lead the end-to-end user experience (UX) design process for SAP S/4HANA solutions, from discovery and research to prototyping and validation.

-          Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and gather stakeholder feedback.

-          Collaborate closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of UX designs and maintain design consistency across applications.

-          Implementation of a tile-based design for SAP Fiori to enhance user interaction across devices.

-          Continuously monitor user adoption and satisfaction, iterating on designs based on analytics and feedback.

-          Stay updated on the latest trends in UX, SAP Fiori design, and enterprise application usability to drive innovation and excellence.

4.       Integration and Compatibility:

-          Ensure that the chosen UI strategy aligns with existing systems and integration requirements.

-          Oversee the Desing, Implementation and integration of SAP Fiori apps with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP RISE, and other cloud, on-premise environments and third-party systems.

-          Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues related to data flow, authentication, and system connectivity.

-          Provide architecture guidance and best practices for SAP BTP deployments.

-          Oversee and support system integration, data migration, and cloud-to-cloud integrations using SAP BTP tools such as SAP Cloud Integration, SAP API Management, and SAP Integration Suite

5.       Test Automation:

-          Leverage SAP Fiori’s streamlined UI to simplify test automation processes, reducing testing time and complexity.

-          Collaborate with QA and development teams to identify test scenarios, create test data, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

       6     Team & Delivery Management:

-          Lead and manage UI/UX work package of SAP transformation factory (Planning, cost, quality, resourcing, stake holder management etc.,).

-          Ensure timely and quality delivery of UI/UX tasks across all projects.

      7     SAP BTP:

-          Design and implement UI/UX solutions leveraging SAP BTP services, such as SAP Fiori Cloud, SAP Business Application Studio, and SAP Extension Suite.

-          Design and implement cloud-native architectures on SAP BTP, leveraging services such as SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Cloud Foundry, and SAP Cloud Platform Integration.

-          Collaborate with development teams to implement SAP BTP solutions, ensuring adherence to architecture designs and best practices.

-          Ensure architecture compliance with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.

-          Troubleshoot and optimize SAP BTP solutions, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.

-          Implement Side by Side Extensions in SAP BTP.

-          Implement SAP Cloud Transport Management and Continuous Integration & Delivery with integrate to GitHub.

-          Develop and run Multitenant Applications in SAP BTP.

-          Experience in Working on SAP Integration Suite, SAP Event Mesh and SAP Business Application Studio in SAP BTP.

-          Good Understanding and Experience on Security in BTP by implementing various Authentication Mechanism for example XSUAA etc.

8     SAP RISE:

-          Understand their business processes and requirements, guiding them through the RISE with SAP journey

-          Implement SAP S/4HANA solutions on the RISE platform, ensuring effective migration and smooth transition to cloud-based systems.

-          Provide strategic advice on optimizing cloud-based SAP solutions to drive business transformation.

-          Assist with data migration, system integration, and change management processes during the SAP transformation

Skills:

1.       Technical Skills:

a.       Deep technical knowledge of SAP Fiori architecture, design principles, and development tools.

b.       Proficiency in designing, developing and delivering SAP Fiori applications using SAP UI5.

2.       Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

3.       Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
