About the Role
We are seeking an experienced QA/Test Automation Architect to lead quality engineering initiatives across enterprise products. This role blends hands-on testing expertise and data-driven decision making with a product owner mindset to ensure quality is directly tied to business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute test strategy across functional, non-functional, automation, and regression testing.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA engineers, fostering ownership and continuous improvement.
- Design and implement automation frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Establish and track quality metrics & dashboards (defect trends, automation %, release readiness).
- Drive data literacy in QA, enabling teams to make decisions using analytics and insights.
- Monitor product performance and user feedback to continuously improve the product.
- Act as the voice of quality in product discussions, aligning testing with business priorities.
- Work closely with the Scrum team to ensure features are well understood, estimated, and delivered on time.
- Contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to maximize value delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure risk-based, value-driven testing.
- Introduce innovation through AI/ML in testing, predictive analytics, and test maturity models.
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong experience in test automation, test management, and QA strategy.
- Proficiency in tools like Selenium, Cypress, Rest Assured, JMeter, Postman, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
- Skilled in data analytics & dashboards (Power BI, Grafana, Kibana, SQL).
- Hands-on coding experience in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Product-owner mindset – balancing quality, speed, and business value with focus on delivering business value.
Qualifications
- 10–15 years of experience in QA/Test Management with leadership exposure.
- Proven success in automation-led quality transformation.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-based testing.
- Certifications (preferred): ISTQB QA/Test Automation Architect/Architect, SAFe PO, Data Analytics.
