Objectives:
Support the eVMS project by translating the needs of Chinese production planning into actionable product, process, and IT requirements. The role bridges local planning practice, central eVMS methodology, and connected IT applications by analyzing user needs, building and validating necessary connectors, collecting structured feedback, and steering further project development. In addition, the role actively supports change management by explaining the value of versioned planning, enabling users, and coordinating adoption between business, IT, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Needs Analysis for Chinese Production Planning
Analyze current production-planning workflows, pain points, decision logic, and information handovers in the Chinese planning context.
Translate local business needs into clear eVMS requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritization proposals.
Validate whether eVMS concepts such as versions, Plan of Record, check requests, references, issues, and merges fit local planning practice.
2.IT Connectors & System Integration
Identify relevant local and central IT applications, data sources, documents, and planning objects that need to be referenced or connected by eVMS.
Support the design, implementation, testing, and documentation of connectors between eVMS and planning applications, including API-based and reference-based integration approaches.
Coordinate with IT, security, and platform teams to ensure connector feasibility, data quality, access rights, reliability, and compliance.
3.
Feedback Collection & Project Steering
Collect structured feedback from Chinese production-planning users through workshops, interviews, testing sessions, and rollout activities.
Consolidate feedback into actionable improvement proposals for the eVMS backlog and support prioritization together with the product and development team.
Track open issues, risks, rollout dependencies, and user needs to steer further project development based on real usage.
4.Change Management & Adoption
Bridge between central eVMS project governance and Chinese planning stakeholders by explaining methodology, benefits, limitations, and expected user behavior.
Prepare enablement material, training sessions, demos, communication packages, and rollout guidance for local stakeholders.
Lead adoption activities by aligning expectations, addressing resistance, translating feedback into improvements, and ensuring a sustainable working mode.
Continuous Improvement & Scaling
Evaluate lessons learned from Chinese rollout activities and transfer them into scalable standards for further eVMS deployments.
Contribute to the evolution of eVMS from core version management toward process intelligence, impact analysis, and AI-supported planning.
Support a pragmatic rollout approach that starts with stable core functionality and expands connectors, automation, and semantic capabilities step by step.
