- Develop manufacturing processes to paint vans; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
- Assure process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing paint processes.
- Budget planning and tracking, writing spec books; requests and evaluation of supplier quotations.
- Manage projects, coordinate suppliers on and off site.
- Technical approval of large equipment/installations while planning with ergonomics in mind.

- Takes part in continuous improvement process to optimize manufacturing efficiency, while developing planning standards, methods, and procedures.

- Master's degree in an engineering discipline
- Experience in Automotive Paint Shop or chemical industry – nice to have
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Methods (especially painting) procedures and process technology with presentation of technical information – nice to have
- A background and thorough understanding of robotic and fluid flow delivery systems
- Strong process engineering “LEAN” skill set
- Proven written and verbal communication at all levels within the organization with good negotiation skills
- Intercultural competencies to build productive work relationships
- A good working knowledge of English Language a strong positive
- Experience with a paint or chemical supplier – nice to have
- Experience in corrosion protection and / or in paint application – nice to have
