Lead. Transform. Secure the Future of Operations. We are looking for a high-impact, strategic leader who will take full ownership of the Central Services function in a fast-paced, international production environment.
This is a key leadership role where you will shape, lead and continuously transform a complex, multi-area organization, ensuring top performance, compliance, and innovation across the plant.
 

Your Mission as Manager of Central Services, you will:

• Drive strategic direction of the department
      Develop and implement vision and strategy aligned with business and global Mercedes-Benz standards 
• Lead a wide and complex operational scope
      Key areas including occupational Health & Safety, Security, Fire Protection, EMS, Mobility, Canteen & team ware services 
• Ensure compliance and operational excellence
      Adherence to legal requirements, internal policies, and international standards – proactively identifying risks and driving improvements 
• Take ownership of safety and risk management
      Act as a key authority in areas such as crisis management, plant security and fire protection/ EMS
• Lead and empower a multidisciplinary team
      Inspire and shape a team across diverse expert functions and perform a high-performance and accountability culture 
• Manage complexity and scale
      Over see departmental budget, resources, and processes while ensuring efficiency and cost optimization 
• Drive transformation and innovation
      Ensure digitalization & Industry 4.0 transformation, continues improvement & contribute to the overall plant production operation  
• Act as a strategic partner in leadership
      Service the Board of Management & key stakeholders to support plant performance & future excellence status

Your Profile
- Master’s degree in a relevant field; additional postgraduate education in OHS, environmental protection, or fire protection is an advantage 
- Extensive leadership experience minimum 5 years of experience in the field of fire protection / health protection / physical security,
- Strong expertise in at least one of the following: OHS, security, fire protection, Medical security
- Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional teams and drive change
- Strategic mindset combined with strong execution skills
- Fluency in English or German and Polish
