VAN Closure Mechanism – Design & Development
Qualification:
- BE or Masters - in Mechanical, Tooling, Industrial Production, Machine Design.
Experience:
- 5 to 10Yrs.
Job Description:
- Design & Development of automotive Sliding Door mechanism, Window Regulator/ Doormodule, Door Handles, Latching Systems(Side Door/Hood/Tailgate), Spindle Drive.
- Experience in Mechanisms of Side Doors, Sliding Doors, Back Doors.
- Sheet metal & Plastic Parts Design Experience.
- Experience in Electronic components viz Motor,Sensors..etc Design/Packaging.
- Experience in Advanced Materials Selection
- Supplier & Cross Functional Team Interactions.
- Should be able to provide quick concepts.
- Should be well versed with GD&T & Tolerance Stack up.
- Should have a good knowledge of automotive regulations – ECE, FMVSS etc…
- Should have knowledge of DVP & DVM | FMEA | 8D analysis and on QC tools.
- Should be good in documentation.
- Should be a strong team player.
Key Skills:
- UG NX | Team centre | SMARAGD etc.
- Knowledge of working with Daimler methods would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge on automotive Window Regulator/Door Module, Door Handles, Latching Systems(Side Door/Hood/Tailgate), Spindle Drive Design & Development.
- Knowledge of German language would be an advantage.
- International exposures on projects desirable.
Requirements:
- Must have worked on any of the two automotive products from below list:
Design & Development of automotive Sliding Door mechanism, Window Regulator/ Doormodule, Door Handles, Latching Systems(Side Door/Hood/Tailgate), Spindle Drive.
- Sound Knowledge in DFA, DFM, Material Selections, Window Regulator/Door Module Component Specification, Testing requirements..etc
- Should be from automotive background.
- Sound knowledge of UG Nx is a must.
- Knowledge about different types of above mechanism & working Principle.
- Should have completed at least one product life cycle.
- Should have worked preferably from OEM’s / Tier1 / Tier2 with a strong domain expertise.
- Should be good in communication.
- Should have good knowledge in MS-Office.
- Willingness to travel abroad for a shorter / longer duration.
