We are looking for an Inventory Controlling Specialist to maximize customer satisfaction by ensuring timely supply of parts while minimizing costs. This position is responsible for planning and ordering parts to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce inbound expenses. The specialist will report daily on stock replenishment orders and provide monthly updates on stock planning and related activities. You will be responsible for:
Special parts management
- Monitor service campaign parts and do replenishment if necessary.
- Align local market strategy and requirement with SPM@Asia system parameters.
- Communicate and align market service campaign topics with regional/central team.
- Investigate parts' special demand trend and take follow-up actions.
- Monitor customers’ immediate demand and revise order type and quantity to supply shortfall in shorter delivery time.
Red-Hot VOR and backordered parts management
- Review TPOP-C backordered parts and convert Red-Hot VOR to RLCM.
- Proceed shortage query process to shorten delivery time of bottleneck parts to increase service level and dealers’ satisfaction.
- Review the result of backorders to review demand and stock order volume in long term.
Inventory activities including obsolete parts management
- Clear low demand parts to keep stock turnover in higher level.
- Review GCSP proposal list and finalize it with shelf life expired items, damaged items, homologation related items, etc. locally.
- Maintain and update company level guideline if necessary.
SPM master data maintenance
- Check c-code items in central system and maintain it in SPM@Asia.
- Regular check for cancelled items on purchase order.
- Customer order cancellation process.
Education
Minimum B.A degree in Engineering or Logistics
Experience
Minimum 3 years business experience in automotive or logistics.
Past experiences should include at least one of the following areas:
- Spare parts logistics
- Automotive aftersales
Specific Knowledge
Persuasive communication skill in Korean and English
Relevant automotive or logistics knowledge or inventory planning
Logistics related certification preferred
