About Us: Become a part of Mercedes-Benz during your internship! Our team in the "Pricing & CKD Strategy" department plays a crucial role in developing and implementing vehicle pricing strategies as well as planning and managing CKD (Completely Knocked Down) projects within Customer & Sales area. We are working very internationally with markets such as Japan, Korea, UK, Canada, France, Italy, India and the SEA Region.
We are responsible for market- and customer-oriented pricing for passenger cars in our subsidiaries abroad. We focus on both strategic and operational pricing, while also engaging in forward-looking projects to optimize pricing processes, such as data-driven pricing and new pricing tools. Additionally, in response to rising trade wars, we are actively exploring new ways to expand and sustain our CKD (Completely Knocked Down) business effectively, which involves close collaboration with production, controlling, and subsidiaries abroad.
Here's what you can expect to be working on:
Support strategic and operational pricing alignment with international markets
Assist in the digitization of pricing processes
Support the creation of pricing templates and tools
Participate in the creation of business cases for new models in emerging markets
Contribute to the CKD strategy by preparing presentations for committee meetings, participating in meetings with markets, production, and controlling teams, and providing support for daily operations
Support the creation and maintenance of PowerPoint presentations and decision-making documents for operational and senior management meeting
The activity can begin from September 2026.
Currently pursuing a degree in business administration, economics, engineering, or a related field
Strong analytical skills and affinity for numbers
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), with knowledge of SharePoint and ThinkCell being beneficial
Independent and structured work approach, with an understanding of complex processes and analytical thinking
Team player with strong communication skills
Excellent written and spoken German and English language skills
Initial experience in pricing or CKD-related fields is an advantage
Internship duration should be at least 5-6 months and must be fully or partly mandatory (“Pflichtpraktikum” or combination of “Pflichtpraktikum” and voluntary internship).
