Responsible for establishing, standardizing, and continuously improving the in-house hardware development methodology for Cockpit, ADAS, and Centralized Computing platforms.
Drive the development of engineering processes, design review mechanisms, technical standards, development toolchains, and knowledge management systems to enable scalable, efficient, and high-quality hardware product development.
Responsible for hardware engineering excellence, ensuring engineering best practices, technical governance, and continuous improvement are embedded across the organization.
1. Hardware Development Process Management
Define and maintain the end-to-end hardware development process
Establish development phases, deliverables, entry criteria, and exit criteria
Ensure consistent execution of hardware development activities across projects
Drive continuous improvement based on project lessons learned and engineering feedback
2. Engineering Review & Governance
Establish review mechanisms for architecture, schematic, layout, EMC, validation, and release readiness
Develop review checklists and evaluation criteria
Ensure consistency and effectiveness of engineering reviews
Support technical governance and engineering quality improvement
3. Engineering Standards & Best Practices
Develop and maintain hardware engineering standards and guidelines
Standardize design methodologies and engineering practices
Drive reuse of proven solutions and best practices across projects
Support engineering capability development
4.Engineering Toolchain & Knowledge Management
Support deployment and optimization of engineering tools and workflows
Improve tool integration and engineering efficiency
Establish knowledge management systems and lessons-learned databases
Promote technical knowledge sharing across teams
5. Engineering Metrics & Continuous Improvement
Define and monitor engineering KPIs
Analyze development efficiency and quality indicators
Identify improvement opportunities and drive corrective actions
Support organizational engineering maturity assessment
Education
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines
- Fluent Chinese and good English communication skills required
Experience
1. Hardware Development Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in automotive electronics development
- Experience in hardware design, architecture, validation, or engineering management roles
- Experience in Cockpit, ADAS, Domain Controller, or High-Performance Computing products preferred
- Strong understanding of complete hardware product development lifecycle
2. Process & Methodology Experience
- Experience defining or improving development processes, design methodologies, and engineering workflows
- Experience developing technical standards, design guidelines, or engineering checklists
- Experience driving engineering process improvements across teams or organizations
3. Engineering Governance Experience
- Experience establishing review processes and technical governance mechanisms
- Experience supporting engineering quality improvement initiatives
- Experience assessing engineering maturity and organizational capabilities
