Position: Global Assignment Consultation and Administration Manager

Rate of Pay: $122,262.00 / per year
Job Duties: Lead projects in the context of global assignment management on a regional and cross-functional basis. Set up assignment management in new locations/entities. Lead and participate in Mercedes-Benz Global Consultation (HR/TOGC) wide projects and working groups. Ensure a compliant assignment administration, effective controls, customer-orientation and timely service to assignees and consultants. Take over complex and high-level escalation topics. Make decisions for process topics. Evaluate individual performance, development, coaching, and feedback to direct reports. Ensure timely availability of necessary information and training. Ensure standard onboarding and training process for new team members. Allocate resources, tasks and responsibilities to the team members, enable team members to carry out the admin task. Participate in the ICS cycle. Ensure effective communication structure in the Hub. Align P&P topics with other HR/TOGC colleagues and transfer related knowledge within team. Collect and regularly provide feedback/suggestion to CoC and Assignment Administration for process optimization. Participate in general HR discussion and provide assignment management related input. Work on steady process improvement with a focus on efficiency. Support Audit from Assignment Consultation administration perspective. Digitalize projects for MBASA as well as HR/TOGC, establishing MBASA as global pilot for customer-oriented products.
Telecommuting permitted up to three (3) days per week.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Project Management, International Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field, plus three (3) years of experience in job offered, as a Global Mobility Manager, Global Mobility Analyst/Consultant, or in a related occupation.
Special Requirements: Following skills must have been gained through three (3) years of experience:
1. Experience with Global operations and mobility methodologies.
2. Experience with international business matters that pertain to immigration, labor implications, position budgeting, headcount, vendor management, and project management.
3. Experience with internal processes and systems focused on managing Global Assignment team and projects.
4. Experience with mobility policies and global operations, including USA, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil payroll and benefits.
5. Experience with Assignment Pro by Equus Software, or similar company-wide Global Mobility tools used to plan, track, and manage assignments efficiently.
6. Experience with vendor management and internal audit control for expatriate and repatriate coordination, using tools such as HReApproval to process new hires, replacements, and cash bonuses for employees.
7. Experience with Leadership, Evaluation, and Development (LEAD) tools to evaluate staff performance.
8. Experience with Global Mobility Policies and Practices.
9. Experience with Quantitative Analysis and Cost Management.
10. Experience with Excel to keep an updated and historical database of assignments. PowerBI and Think-cell for Data Analytics and Business Intelligence dashboards for entity and assignment reporting purposes.
