Objectives:
We are looking for an experienced R&D Engineer for Engine Periphery parts (such as Intake &Charging system, Ventilation system and Cooling System) to join our global powertrain R&D team. The role has global RD ownership of mass-produced 4-cylinder engines, and new part development of China leading projects, also need ensure joint venture localization engine projects delivery.
Qualifications:
Education: Master or Bachelor degree in automotive /mechanical engineering or equivalent fields
Experience: 5+ years R&D experience on Engine Periphery parts (such us Intake/Charging system, Ventilation system and Cooling System) at OEM or Tier1 supplier.
Specific knowledge
- Fluent written and spoken skills in English; German is a plus
- Familiar with automotive material characteristics (plastic, rubber, aluminum) and common manufacturing processes (injection molding, blow molding, laser welding etc.)
- Logical thinking, strong data analysis & root cause investigation capability
- Solid knowledge in 3D modeling and 2D drawing design software, like Simens NX.
- Outstanding cross-department communication, supplier management and technical presentation capabilities.
