Objectives:
- Responsible for the design, lead implementation and optimization of T-Box telematics architecture. The role focuses on enabling the TCU to provide reliable Internet access, IP connectivity, routing, and other telematics services to other components like in-vehicle ECUs and mobile App.
- As telematics architect, drive the full lifecycle from requirements analysis, architecture design, technical specification, solution design, supplier implementation follow-up, to integration and validation. Define and maintain function specifications covering IP routing, NAT, DNS, DHCP, APN-based data path selection, Ethernet/IP interface behavior, network recovery, and related connectivity services.
- Resolve cross-domain technical challenges in high-concurrency ECU access, onboard/offboard data communication, routing stability, low-power behavior, network auto-recovery, and diagnostic communication links. Collaborate with TCU Tier 1 supplier, internal ECU teams, cloud platform teams, hardware teams, validation teams, and project teams to ensure system integration consistency and production delivery quality.
- Support mass production projects by leading technical analysis of integration and field issues, guiding supplier bug fixes, and ensuring robust operation of TCU-provided Internet and IP network services.
- Develop TCU telematics architecture to enable the use-cases of TCU-only or TCU-central services for other in-vehicle ECUs
- Support vehicle-to-cloud data path and backend interface from TCU connectivity perspective
- Support China data and connectivity regulation related topics
- Monitor in-vehicle Internet access and IP routing technology trends
- Support management team in technical decision-making
