Job Overview

The Retail Marketing Senior Analyst is responsible for developing and executing strategy across Tier 3 marketing programs, overseeing program strategy, enhancements, and integrations for both Sales and Aftersales initiatives. This role partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, implement, and manage tactical resources that support MBUSA and its dealer network, driving revenue growth, customer retention, brand integrity, and market expansion. The position manages dealer communications across email, direct mail, digital, social media, connected TV, and SMS channels, and serves as a subject matter expert for the Tier 3 dealer CRM platform. Decisions and recommendations made in this role have a direct and meaningful impact on brand reputation, legal and compliance risk, and financial outcomes for Mercedes-Benz USA.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive Sales and Aftersales marketing strategy, tactics, and execution within Tier 3. 

  • Steer development of Aftersales and Sales marketing strategy, tactics, and execution. Ensure 'look and feel' and messaging are brand-commensurate and consistent with overall company goals.

  • Explore, identify and implement program enhancements and new opportunities of the Tier 3 dealer CRM platform to ensure best in class solution for dealers. 

  • Establish on-going tracking and attribution of campaign to steer performance and drive vehicle sales + customer pay results. 

  • Support all MBUSA integrations to include Mercedes-Benz marketing platform, data, and security needs 

  • Provide a high level of customer service for dealers and field regarding the dealer marketing program. Ensure training is readily available when needed. Represent and promote the retail marketing program by developing and presenting strategies and initiatives at routine Fieldcast and Dealercast meetings. 

  • Direct management of agency partners, including budget management and optimization, program planning and deliverable signoff.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

4 – 6 years (total) of experience in the following: Marketing, Automotive Business, Project/Business Management (strategic planning, budget/ resource planning and responsibility, communication, process methodology)

Skills

  • Proficient at building and maintaining strong working relationships with a prioritized focus on collaboration with field teams and dealer network as well as internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret data to make sound decisions based on KPIs, Metrics, and performance trends
  • Proven ability to forecast, assess problem areas and risks and proactively manage potential impacts or operational needs
  • Proven ability to set and manage multiple priorities and tasks 
  • Proven ability to design and execute strategic plans and initiatives, from creative development through implementation and evaluation, and working knowledge of relevant marketing media tactics.
  • Demonstrates robust organizational capabilities, adept at analysing complex situations and establishing structure within a project management setting.
  • Proficient at communication design and storytelling delivering to both operational and executive audiences
  • Confident in public speaking, specifically delivering messages with candor and professionalism utilizing factbased content to steer business objectives
  • Displays diplomacy and relevance when responding to requests and providing feedback
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Education

Bachelor‘s Degree (accredited school) or equivalent work experience with emphasis in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Project Management or other related fields.
