Section Lead ADAS Release & Delivery

Objective of job:

The ADAS system is one major strategic and technological target field within our MB passenger cars. The main target of ADAS system integration team is to lead ASPICE SYS.5 System Integration Testing (TLR2: TL5-TL8) for ADAS Domain, covering all customer functions from HiL bench through proving ground to real-vehicle validation. As Section Lead of ADAS Verification and Validation (ASPICE SYS.5, TLR2), responsible for:

  • Define and own ASPICE SYS.5 System Integration Test Strategy and Plan; set 100% coverage targets (requirement, state, safety, variant, SOTIF), define RASIC matrix and entry/exit criteria per QGLead full test lifecycle: test case design in STARC, HiL closed-loop execution (TL5/TL6 via Vizdock/DAVT), vehicle test campaigns at proving ground and on-road (TL7/TL8), QG readiness reporting
  • Define RDC ADAS SI test strategy; communicate to domain test leads to implement traceability (SYS.2 requirements to test cases to results to defects)
  • Continuously refine V&V strategy; drive HiL automation rate (>60%); enforce SW freeze rule (T-3 days before track campaigns); manage test environment qualification.
  • Manage test resources (HiL benches, proving ground vehicles, test house partners); coordinate BROP conformance testing (Diva, NTS, DWT, NEST, TATS, OTX) per release; align with QM on open QM-labeled defects before each QG
  • Interface with ADAS system integration, safety team (ISO 26262 / SOTIF ISO 21448), QM, and German HQ; represent RDC in CCB and Quality Gate reviews as SI Test Lead
  • Supervise and support team work progress, adjust task priorities, distribute workload, and ensure timely quality work, reporting to the Supervisor in regular basis.
  • Support senior manager in team recruitment according to the business needs.
  • Mentoring and coaching to team members, enhance team skills and capabilities.
  • Prepare and participate in performance evaluations to ensure the team member’s development.
  • Guide the team in addressing critical topics and issues, working closely with team members to devise effective solutions.
  • Coordinate with different stakeholders to drive and deliver best MBOS for our customer
Qualifications

 

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in electric engineering, software engineering, computer science or similar majors, Master Degree preferred

Experience

  • At least 5 years working experience in the ADAS System Integration & validation relevant areas
  • Experience of OEM development processes and development cycles

Specific Knowledge

  • Deep knowledge of ASPICE SYS.5 system integration testing; experienced in test strategy, test plan, and RASIC matrix development
  • Hands-on ADAS test toolchain experience: STARC/Codebeamer, HiL (Vizdock, DAVT), CANoe, ADTF/Mviz; BROP conformance suite knowledge; ISO 26262 and SOTIF (ISO 21448) awareness; strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Team player with open-minded work attitude and ability to adapt to new situations
  • Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English (German as a plus)
