Role Overview

This role focuses on managing SAP Business Unit (BU) roles and authorizations and delivering onboarding services for new project members. The position ensures secure and efficient access management within SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC, and related modules) aligned with governance and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

BU Roles & Authorization (SAP)

• Create an overview of user communities for all phases (development, live operation) and logistic levels (VS1 to VS3) within SAP environments.
• Harmonize BU role definitions across SAP products and regions in collaboration with governance and product owners.
• Maintain BU role and technical access matrix for SAP systems (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, EWM, TM).
• Provide detailed documentation and descriptions of SAP roles and authorizations.

Onboarding Service

• Design onboarding forms for new SAP project members.
• Process onboarding requests within 24 hours (working days only).
• Enable SAP user IDs and apply required access rights as per role/access matrix.
• Automate onboarding steps from request form to IAM system (Identity & Access Management) integrated with SAP.
• Conduct and document regular SAP access reviews to disable accounts of project members who have exited.

Required Skills & Personal Characteristics

• Strong communication skills; ability to engage globally without hesitation.
• Quick understanding of both business and IT requirements.
• Awareness of SAP Identity & Access Management, role-based access control, and cybersecurity principles.
• Skilled in moderation and negotiation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Hands-on experience in SAP user administration and role management (S/4HANA, ECC, and related modules).
• Familiarity with SAP authorization concepts (PFCG roles, SU01, SUIM, etc.).
• Experience with IAM tools and onboarding automation.
• Knowledge of governance and compliance standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR).

Preferred Certifications

• SAP Certified Technology Associate (System Administration or Security).
• ITIL or IAM-related certifications.
