[About the position]

We are looking for a highly motivated professional to lead the deployment, localization, and operation of the RCMS (Rollout and Configuration Management Service) in South Korea.

This role will serve as the key interface between German development teams, external development partners, and internal stakeholders in Korea.
 

[Tasks]

The position focuses on ensuring successful service rollout in the Korean market by driving localization efforts, managing cloud environments, coordinating development activities, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
 

Deployment & Localization

• Lead local deployment of RCMS in Korean cloud environments
• Define and establish role and access management concepts
• Coordinate integration with local map providers and adapt to local map formats
• Align with local map providers on map content (road classes, administrative attributes, etc.)
• Define and implement ingestion concepts for RCMS map data
• Ensure alignment with global architecture while minimizing local deviations (delta-only development)
• Coordinate with external development partners and ensure timely delivery

Service Operation & Lifecycle Management

• Oversee daily operations of RCMS services in South Korea
• Manage cloud environments, roles, and system configurations
• Ensure service stability, monitoring, and incident handling
• Maintain and adapt RCMS security concepts in compliance with ROW/global standards
• Coordinate ongoing technical alignment with local stakeholders (e.g., ADAS teams, Navigation teams)
• Ensure compliance with South Korean regulations related to map data management

Release & Delivery Management

• Manage end-to-end product release lifecycle in collaboration with global teams and partners
• Maintain and prioritize product backlog in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitLab
• Ensure proper testing and validation of releases before deployment
• Ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards for product launches in Korea

본 포지션은 한국 시장에서 RCMS 서비스를 성공적으로 도입하기 위해 현지화 작업을 추진하고, 클라우드 환경을 관리하며, 개발 활동을 조율하고, 국내 규제 준수를 보장하는 업무에 중점을 둡니다.

배포 및 현지화 (Deployment & Localization)

• 한국 내 클라우드 환경에서 RCMS의 현지 배포를 주도
• 역할(Role) 및 권한(Access) 관리 체계 정의 및 구축
• 국내 지도(Map) 제공업체와의 시스템 연동 및 국내 지도 포맷 적용 조율
• 도로 등급(Road Class), 행정구역 속성 등 지도 콘텐츠 관련 사항을 국내 지도 제공업체와 협의
• RCMS 지도 데이터 수집 및 적재(Ingestion) 체계 정의 및 구현
• 글로벌 아키텍처와의 정합성을 유지하면서 현지 개발은 최소화(Delta-only Development)
• 외부 개발 파트너와 협업하고 일정 내 결과물 제공 관리

서비스 운영 및 라이프사이클 관리 (Service Operation & Lifecycle Management)

• 한국 내 RCMS 서비스의 일상 운영 총괄
• 클라우드 환경, 사용자 권한 및 시스템 설정 관리
• 서비스 안정성 확보, 모니터링 및 장애 대응 관리
• 글로벌 및 ROW(Rest of World) 표준에 부합하는 RCMS 보안 체계 유지 및 개선
• 국내 이해관계자(예: ADAS팀, 내비게이션팀)와 지속적인 기술 협의 수행
• 지도 데이터 관리와 관련된 대한민국 규제 준수 보장

릴리스 및 배포 관리 (Release & Delivery Management)

• 글로벌 팀 및 외부 파트너와 협력하여 제품 릴리스 전 과정을 관리
• Jira, Confluence, GitLab 등의 도구를 활용한 제품 백로그 관리 및 우선순위 설정
• 배포 전 릴리스에 대한 적절한 테스트 및 검증 수행
• 한국 시장 내 제품 출시 일정 및 품질 기준 준수 관리

[ENG]

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• Equivalent practical experience in cloud services or software platform deployment is acceptable

Professional Skills

• Experience in product/service management including roadmap planning and backlog prioritization
• Strong understanding of backend systems, service architectures, and system integration
• Knowledge of map technologies or geospatial systems
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments (setup, access control, roles)
• Project and vendor management experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Understanding of testing, release processes, and system security/compliance
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence
