Object:

• Responsible as project lead for MB.OS ADAS product & project development for MB carlines in China market.

• Leading and coordinating the project management for MB ADAS projects in sense of development & industrialization phase, carline rollout phase and also change management within lifecycle.

• Responsible for product & project maturity status tracking towards carline SoP. Create transparency about projects scopes and timeline, be responsible for project status report, resources management and risk management, co-work with Domain regards of supplier management, maintain an efficient development project management system within the project lifecycle time

• Job designation/Field of work:

• Collaborate with different stakeholders, acting as the interface between different projects and providing necessary development project information and technical consultant for relevant stakeholders.

• Define and conduct cross functional ADAS product development system and tools for China market development projects. In order to create transparency for project milestone cross domainly, as well as resource distribution.

• Own the defined product development system and tools and provide the transparency to all stakeholders. Drive continously the development of the system and processes to ensure the high requirement of project management and effienciency.

• Project resource & budget planning including FTE & VMAT etc and alignment with RD HQ and controlling. Lead the resource lifecycle management according to different project .phases/workloads/milestone in order to ultilize the planned resource in an intelligent and reasonable way.

• Regular project status report to create project holistic overview for the relevant stakeholders and management.

• Regular project premise handbook and timeline update and cross domain communication to FO/PO and management.

• Define project scope and feature roll-out plan and monitoring the implementation status on each milestone.

• Management escalation by defecting project risks as earlier as possible. Support supplier dialog/meetings with management for critical projects.

• Product strategy alignment with multi - stakeholders.

• Support on project business case evaluation including RD related funding.

• Escalation and risk management:  e.g. project delay, resource shortage, critical supplier performance at the delivery milestone etc.

• Change management during the project lifecycle time: Overall steering the change requests, cost and timeline management for the change implementation.

• Technical support for Project leaders and function managers with project management knowledge.

• Support surrounding processes (demand management, test management, legal evaluation) to cover the complete lifecycle of delivering a “China-fit” product.

• Support on Team matters, and organization build-up.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Master degree in electrical engineering, software engineering or computer science, or similar major

Experience:

• Good knowledge/experience about vehicle hardware/software development project.

• Work experience at OEMs or suppliers for E/E especially ADAS and SW development is a plus.

• At least 5+ years of experience in software development projects.

• At least 5+ years of experience in software development projects.

• Working experience in international company is a plus.

• Experience with ADAS components/application is plus, e.g. Auto Parking, Driving assistant system, AEB…

• Experience working in an Agile development environment, Agile/Scrum methodology, experience as scurm master or product owner is plus.

Specific Knowledge & requirements:

• Advance knowledge in terms of methodologies in project management, e.g. project plan, risk analysis, PMP is a plus.

• Good understanding about hardware & software development & quality methodologies, good knowledge & experiences about hardware/software/carline product industrialization for vehicle series production.

• Know-how with vehicle EE architecture and SW architecture/development is a plus.

• Familiar with vehicle development process is an advantage, experiences in collaboration with Joint venture partner or is a plus .

• Experiences in supplier management is a plus.

• Excellent skills in multi-stakeholder management and diverse business partners, experiences and good skills in conflict management is need.

• Advanced MS Office skills in PowerPoint, Excel and Word. Good spirit, knowledge & experiences about AI tools is a plus.

• Experience with Jira and Confluence or similar PM tools.

• Self-responsibility with high motivation for moving things forward, team player with team spirit.

• Leading and drive spirit with excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

• Willingness to travel inside China and foreign countries.

• Open minded for taking over challenges & responsibility with resilience.

• Very good English. German is a plus.
