Job Responsibilities
- Investigate and develop methodology for full vehicle soiling simulations
- Plan the tests to validate the numerical models
- Interact with globally distributed technical teams.
- Responsible for quality as well as timelines for the assigned task
- Project planning & execution and results evaluation & delivery
- Ensure the fulfillment of all applicable guidelines, regulations and compliance measures
- Collaboration with Siemens and universities
A candidate should
- have a good understanding of fluid dynamics/aerodynamics, multiphase fundamentals
- be skilled in computational aerodynamics/fluid-dynamics (CFD using commercially available tools
- have excellent oral/written/graphic communication skills
Added advantage
- working experience in the area of both Lagrangian and Eulerian multiphase
- a good understanding of theoretical or experimental aerodynamics, and multiphase
- a good understanding of numerical optimization techniques
Preferred
- Skilled in Star-CCM+, Preon-Labs or other SPH techniques
- Scripting knowledge
- Basic understanding of automotive systems
- Basic German language skills
