The mission of the Mercedes-Benz Manhattan Tech Trainee – Part Time is to service and maintain Mercedes-Benz vehicles while providing an outstanding brand and customer experience through excellent preparation, attitude, and teamwork.

•    Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
•    Conduct New York State vehicle inspections.
•    Replace wheels and tires as needed.
•    Call in all warranty claims to ensure proper execution and payment for tire-related claims.
•    Diagnose and resolve vehicle issues under the supervision of a mentor.
•    Assist fellow technicians with any job or task they request help with.
•    Collaborate with the Team Leader/foreperson to complete in-house training.
•    Maintain and clean the shop and equipment as needed.
•    Always ensure a clean and safe work environment.
•    Regularly commute to and from Manhattan/New York City.
•    Perform test drives as requested and/or necessary. 
•    Assist in moving vehicles throughout building.
•    Maintain a good work ethic.

•    Education: High School Diploma (GED) or equivalent work experience.
•    Schedule: Must be available to work Saturdays and holidays as required.
•    Licensing: Valid driver’s license and New York State Inspection Certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
•    Professionalism: Always maintain a neat and professional appearance.
•    Physical: Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
