This position is aimed to lead EE cross domain discussion to ensure and consolidate the overall EE topics during vehicle early development activities. Also to fulfill the requirement of vehicle project requirements in early phase to define feasbale feature Portfolio from a technical point of view to safeguard EE maturity in development early phase. Coordination of technical Assessment in cooperation with MGS for MB.OS scope. Ensuring a correct committee flow through MB.OS and carline commitees, with special focus on infotainment, ADAS and Body EE comfort functions to MB internal and BBAC joint venture. You need to take the initiative to drive the alignment with HQ and relevant departments in China about China specific demanding (e.g. release planning, feature roll-out plan), make the transparency to vehicle project & BBAC plants about specific carline EE status, and ensure the internal connection among EE release manager, testing engineer in the team. To achieve this, the ability of communication, team collaboration, high efficiency mindset and professional project management skills is essential to this position.
Lead the discussion and alignment of the overall EE technical assessment with HQ and relevant EE domains from carline perspective (e.g. ADAS, Telematics, Body comfort, e Drive, etc.)
Drive the each carline’s feature roll out plan in collaboration with BTVs, FOs and PM team
Lead and organize cross-department meeting to discuss and align EE technical assessment/feasibility study topics.
Make the transparency of overall EE development status to management level and relevant departments include BBAC plant in a regular base.
Provide and align input in the digital phase to HQ and PM team about the China specific features from overall vehicle perspective
Be the connection hub of EE release manager and testing engineer in the team
Qualification
- Bachelor degree or above in electrical engineering, computer science, and vehicle engineering
- 5-10 years working experience at OEMs or suppliers for E/E especially Telematics/ADAS development or testing
- 5+ years project management experience in a multi-cultural business environment.
- Good knowledge of vehicle development, testing and production process.
- Ability to understand software and hardware development cycle, vehicle architectures and testing methodologies
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-responsible, strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Teamwork spirit with excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and conflict management skills.
- Solid knowledge of vehicle EE architectures, network technologies and communication mechanisms.
- Advanced MS Office skills in PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- Fluent Chinese and English language skills and capable to work in multi-cultural environment
- knowledge of vehicle CAN, LIN, Flexray, Ethernet and EE architecture is a plus
