FMS/OM is in-charge of IT department (regional) finance.  We handle cost center planning and conduct budget check on IT project costs.  We conduct Plan vs Actual analysis on Cost Center and IT projects reports. We handle IT Service Agreements life cycle which include billing on project milestones. 

We will support our accounting team on month-end and year-end closing activities.

We have some finance online system to support us on daily basis and implement some finance projects.

Job Description:

• Assist to prepare IT Service Agreements by conducting sanity checks.

• Assist to follow up IT Service Agreements life cycle with our service providers.

• Prepare weekly reports for service providers on outstanding IT Service Agreements

• Support on monthly billing cycle and conduct posting check in SAP system.

• Assist to manage daily actuals financial data from SAP to Self-Service Tool via RPA.

• Handle administrative record and tracking on IT Service Agreements and billing on daily basis.

• Assist to prepare monthly management report data.

• Assist to perform calculation on allocated costs during planning cycles.

• Assist to perform sanitary checks on monthly cost centers report completed by Shared Service Center.

• Assist to perform testing on Financial Automate IT systems.

Internship Learning Outcome:

• Ability to understand financial aspects in IT projects.

• Ability to learn SAP, FICO module.

• Develop proficiency in analyzing financial data related to IT budgets.

• Gain insights into Regional IT Controlling function within Mercedes-Benz. 

• Enhance communication and collaboration skills by working closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Accounting, and legal departments to identify, address and mitigate risks associated with SA governance topic.

Qualifications:

• Possess college diploma/associate degree qualifications and pursuing degree in Controlling, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration

• Highly motivated independent worker with positive working and learning attitude.

• Ability to work in an international and intercultural context.

• Excellent Microsoft excel skills; proficiency in SAP-FICO and excel-based data warehouse preferred.

• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
