Job Description
Act as the EE China Issue Speaker for MG3x components and lead the EE System China Issue Resolution Team (CIRT).
Coordinate and drive field issue analyses, ensuring alignment on target vs. actual deviations and consolidating topics discussed within the CIRT.
Organize and facilitate regular CIRT meetings, prioritize topics according to the China Sensor Round (CSR), and coordinate cross-functional root cause investigations.
Lead issue resolution activities within CIRT according to field action plan, define and assign issue resolution actions, clarify ownership, and ensure effective execution and documentation in the corresponding documentation systems.
Collect and track implementation timelines, monitor the effectiveness of corrective measures from R&D, production, and aftersales organizations, and maintain transparent reporting of issue resolution status.
Ensure lessons learned are systematically captured, documented, and transferred to future China projects and products.
Represent EE topics in quality committees, including CSR, CQB, and QGP China, providing updates, sharing information, requesting support, and driving decision-making when required.
Serve as the primary interface to global PF Teams and AETs, coordinating issue handling and ensuring effective collaboration between CIRT and global stakeholders.
Define and continuously improve the EE CIRT collaboration framework, with a particular focus on working processes and interfaces with BBAC counterparts.
Tasks
Your task is to lead the CIRT – team, coordinate the analyse and the issue resolution process, have the transparency about the issues and you are the counterpart to the German PF teams.
- Optimize CIRT process in regards of effectiveness and related processes.
- Interface to QM-Hub as main contact for field topics, Regular exchange.
- Cooperate closely with line function, in regards of issue resolution status, create transparency.
- Propose countermeasures and next steps for issue resolution.
- Documentation of CIRT – topics in the different systems and reports.
- Interface and coordination to German PF- Teams on a regular basis.
- Lead regular CIRT meeting.
- Define, maintain and adapt CIRT KPIs.
Education
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering is required.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ automotive industry (or comparable) experience, quality and manufacturing experience preferred.
- Expertise in EE- component development or quality area
Specific Knowledge
- Self-discipline, ability to adapt, sense of responsibility.
- Good English language skills (speaking and writing) / German language is beneficial
- Results oriented with strong written and oral communications skills.
- Willingness to travel on a regular basis.
- Interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills, team orientation are necessary along with computer competency, e.g. MS Office applications.
