Objective of Job:
- Bridge between eDrive system and cloud-based OTA system, contribute to the architecture and implementation of a secure and reliable OTA update system specifically for eDrive SW and calibration data.
- Implement security measures for OTA process to ensure update safety.
- Work with cloud/backend OTA team to define requirements for managing eDrive specific updates.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test/validation plans for OTA updates under different conditions.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to OTA updates reported from the field or internal testing.
- Be responsible for xEV Drive System integration and system commissioning.
- Bridge between China eDrive team and HQ relevant departments, in close contact with them for technical topics and also some project topics, push the topics/solutions forward.
- Be responsible for failure analysis and issue resolutionwithin the xEV Drive System.
Qualifications:
Education:
- University degree in electrical, mechanical or automotive engineering
Experience:
- Professional experience in automotive SW development with focus on OTA system (e.g. process, functionality and key technology).
- In-depth understanding of eDrive system or eDrive HV system design, testing, validation, integration and relevant areas.
- Deep knowledge on xEV powertrain system development process, espeicially SW wise.
- Farmiliarity with functional safety and cybersecurity standards and practices.
- Understanding on eDrive architecture, such as networking, powernet, diagnose etc. is beneficial.
- eDrive powertrain control strategy, energy management, thermal management, and other key functions calibration experience is beneficial.
- Specific knowledge
- fluent written/spoken English, German benificial
- Software skills in Vector (CANape/CANoe), INCA and DTS Monaco mandatory
- Excellent communication skills (for effective communication with stakeholders)
- Team-Oriented working attitude, ability to work independently, fast learning and self-motivated.
