Objectives：

• Development and validation of functional safety concepts and requirements for automotive systems.                                                    

• Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA).

• Specification of Safety Goals.

• Development of Functional Safety Concepts.

• Verification and Validation to ensure that safety requirements are correctly implemented and effective.

• Safety Case and Release.

• Central contact person for functional safety topics in global cooperation or China specific development projects.

• First contact in Market China, responsible for solving functional safety related problems in development, production as well as in the aftersales market.

• Globally work together with Mercedes Benz RD China, RD Germany Headquarter, MBRDI India, MB Plants and external suppliers.

• Definition of technical specifications for the future drivetrain software functions.

   

   

   

Qualification:

Education

• Study background in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or in a related field.

Experience

• Graduates with automotive background and later at least 3-5 years’ work experience at OEMs or suppliers.

• Experience with functional safety in Drive Systems.

• Familiar with functional safety standards ISO 26262, and possesses multiple project experiences compliant with ISO 26262

• Fluent English language skills, German language beneficial.

• Familiar with automotive system architectures, safety lifecycle, and hazard analysis.

• Computer skills: Microsoft Office, safety analysis software, and requirements management tools.

• Analytic and systematic thinking.

• Self-responsible working attitude and initiative.

• Intercultural competence and communication skills with various hierarchy levels.

• Willingness to travel inside China and abroad for training and testing trips.

• Driver license for passenger cars, preferable with at least 3 years’ driving experience.
