Objective of Job:
- Analyze the requirement and KPI from overall vehicle side
- Translate this into requirement of different Drivetrain systems, specify the sub-systems of drivetrain
- Specify test cases for drivetrain validation
- Monitor the drive system relevant component trend and roadmaps
- Set benchmark targets and draft benchmark plans
- Review test results and release drivetrain systems
- Reporting in project and management rounds
Job Requirement:
Education: University degree in electrical, mechanical or automotive engineering,
Experience:
• Deep knowledge of drivetrain system or drivetrain HV system design, calibration, testing, validation, integration and relevant areas (3-5 years and above)
• Familiar with xEV drivetrain system development process, and specification method.
• Familiar with current xEV drivetrain concepts/architectures on the market and understand the pros and cons of different concepts
• Deep understanding of drive system functions and function specification.
• eDrive powertrain control strategy, energy management, thermal management, and other key functions calibration experience is beneficial
• At least a basic understanding of all systems and sub-systems on the vehicle other than that of the drivetrain system
Specific knowledge
• fluent written/spoken English, German beneficial
• Software skills in Vector (CANape/CANoe), INCA and DTS Monaco in mandatory, Matlab/Simulink is beneficial
• Deep understanding of PHEV / BEV drivetrain systems setup and internal interaction
• Excellent communication skills (for effective communication with stakeholders)
• Team-Oriented working attitude, ability to work independently, fast learning and self-motivated
• Driver license
