Job Overview:
This position is responsible for configuration of Alfa system for business process, accounting, user security for projects, enhancements and systems support. This includes the initial idea development, requirements capture, process design, through to the testing and implementation. This position will require the individual to begin to develop a good understanding of the business functions, processes, Alfa system configuration capability and use this knowledge to be do Alfa system configuration per the business and finance requirements. It is key to ensure a common understanding between IT, Business and accounting. Flexibility and the ability to adapt to a variety of responsibilities and settings are crucial to success in this position.
Good understanding of product development, and product deployment using the docker platform is desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Production Support: Promptly address customer issues/tickets; Monitor system performance; Address system issues by performing root cause analysis and eliminating repeat problems; Ensure timely system upgrades; Sundown/replace obsolete technologies. (20%)
- Develop and Implement System Configuration: Work with business partners to develop system configuration requirements ; Develop system configuration; Develop use cases; Execute test plans; Implement system configuration changes. (40%)
- Plan/Communicate: Develop plans and time estimates; Track progress to plans; Communicate status, issues and risks to manager on a timely basis. Develop strong and productive relationships with business partners, colleagues and management. (20%)
- Comply with departmental standards: Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements and ITM standards, as defined in business process system. Comply with IDS Houston methodologies for both Program Change(PC) and Program Development (PD). (10%)
- Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project. Lead and direct the work of others and vendors. Manage project budgets. Partner closely with all areas affected by the projects, including suppliers, end users, senior management and executives. Assemble, lead and motivate project team members in the design, development and delivery of solution(s). (10%)
Qualifications:

This position requires a minimum of 8-10 years of overall work experience. Preferred experience includes:
- Business (General) - 5-10 years of experience
- Information Technology - 5-10 years of experience
Education:
