Job Description

As a Senior Python backend developer, you will work with multiple teams to deliver data driven solutions and capabilities on the cloud (Azure / AWS). This position delivers applications for all AI related capabilities required for Electric Powertrain domain. You will be Involved in coding of features and/or bug-fixing and delivering solutions adhering to coding and quality guideline

 

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team to develop Python code for Cloud Data and Analytics solutions.
• Participate in development of cloud data warehouses, data as a service, business intelligence and machine learning solutions.
• Developing Python code to facilitate the integration of additional data sources and operationalization of machine learning and statistical models.
• You have experience in building data solutions, both batch processes and streaming applications
• Participating in an agile development team that delivers value iteratively
• Building both batch and real time services
• Ability to provide solutions that are forward-thinking in data and analytics
• Collaborating with Global stakeholders.

 

Skills/Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience in software application development using Python
• Growth mindset with Cloud and AI First approach.
• You have extensive development experience in Python, including development of microservices using e.g. Flask, Django, etc.
• Good experience in Cloud technologies (Azure or AWS) –preferably, hands on experience in Azure stack (Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks).
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming
• Understanding and implementing of RESTful API design
• Knowledge of both SQL (Stored procedures) and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB etc.
• Working experience of Git preferably bitbucket.
• Good knowledge of CI/CD preferably using bitbucket pipelines and Jenkins.
• Good to have: Event-driven designs -Kafka, Pulsar, RabbitMQ, etc.
• Good to have :Experience with AI
• Good to have: Platform/Product development background.
• Applicants with Automobile / EV domain will be preferred.
