Job Location :- Pune (MH)
Required Experience:-
- In between 6 to 8 years of Automotive OEM / Engineering service industry experience in Tightening Tool Planning and Execution in automotive domain (Vehicle Assembly, Paint Shop and BIW Shop)
- Equipment – DC tools , Pheumatic tool - Manipulator, Robotic Cell, Bemi Designing
- Knowledge of tightening processes in production, Industrial tightening tools suppliers, equipment planning experience, knowledge of safety relevant processes in automotive, proficient with MS Excel, MS PPT, CAD tools
Tool Skills :- Expertise required above 7 (on scale of 10)

- Experience with torque technologies – Cleco, Atlas Copco, Bosch, SPC, analysing torque curves, residual torques, socket/extensions standards, EC/DC tool programming, basic networking nomenclature, knowledge of MES, experience with CAD tools, end-to-end equipment planning experience (RFQ to Installation & Commissioning).

Technical Skills :-
Analysing vehicle assembly torque specifications using Dialog and Engineering Client
- Identifying instructions for Straight Torque / Torque + Angle / Tightening Sequences / Pre-Torque / Staging or phasing information from engineering documentationConveyor system requirement study,
concept preperation & digital simulation in Team Center visualization.
- Creating tightening planning documentation in QS-Torque with above specifications, selected hardware specs (Integra standard tools, extensions, sockets, adapters) identifying tightening stations from Pro-Plan / Geo AP
- Validating tool selections and accessory definition in 3D – Engineering Client, Team Center, Vis-Mockup, Veo-AF .
Identifying any fouling due to deficiency in assembly sequence or design constraints
Coordinating cross-functionally with process and product teams to resolve open issues.
- With selected tool models and accessories, create tool planning list with BOM Identify suppliers and request quotations technical discussions with suppliers and stake holders on quoted equipment
- EC/DC Tool integration planning using integra standards–tool and controller hostnames, setup with plant network, code specific torque program activation with MES (Gepard), geo tagging/ RTLS configuration (Ubisense), PLC integrations. result reporting with quality servers.
Document all above defined data in Process Data List (PDL) and QS-torque.
- EC/DC Tool controller parameterization using Cleco mPRO GC, Atlas Copco Tools Talk
Torque staging, 2 phase/4 phase programming, setup of unique parameters/sequences among product variants, setting up process control windows for error proofing
- On-site installation and commissioning of tightening equipment, monitoring torque traces and values using Atlas Copco ToolsNet and Cleco Torque Net creating deficiency/improvements list, working cross-functionally and with suppliers to close open points.
Managing and adapting changes with product and process
- Setting up residual torque audit parameters, analyse collected residual torque data, perform SPC using QS-Torque, optimizing controller or audit wrench parameters (SCS Freedom wrenches), creating KPIs, benchmarking with sister plants
- Selection of Assist device and reaction mechanism for tightening tools with knowledge on different types of reaction arresting mechanisms, concept designing of gripper/reaction arrestors, virtual commissioning
- Hands on experience on 3D software’s (Teamcenter, NX)
Experience of Automatic tightening stations (RFQ to I&C)
Experience of integration of tightening tools with peripheral control systems at Chassis Marriage, Robotic Cells etc.
Qualification :-
- B.E / B. Tech in Mechinical / Production / Industrial Engineering
Skills Expected :-
- Designing activity in NX
- Good hands on experience & Exposure to Tool Planning and I &C
- Proficient in working in a CFT environment.
- Proficiency in German/Spanish Language is added advantage
- Handle multiple projects and good project management skills.
- Good time management skills - on time deliveries (OTD), first time correctness (FTC)
- Driven to solve problems and use innovative approach towards them.
