Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive candidate for test management of Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) for after-sales automotive diagnostic products. The role involves planning and managing testing activities within a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) lab environment, ensuring product quality and alignment with business requirements.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in bug management, stakeholder communication, and supporting both manual and partially automated testing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, manage, and execute Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) activities for after-sales diagnostic automotive products.
• Work extensively with HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) setups in a lab environment to validate system behavior.
• Support automation teams, leveraging existing Python-based test frameworks and work on new python script development for automation maintenance / new change requests
• Own and drive end-to-end bug management, including tracking, prioritization, reporting, and closure.
• Actively contribute to manual / automation testing activities alongside the team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand new change requests and translate them into clear, actionable test cases.
• Provide clarity and direction to the testing team on requirements, scope changes, and testing priorities.
• Ensure timely reporting of testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with automotive diagnostics systems and after-sales tools
• Proven experience in test management, preferably in automotive or embedded systems domains.
• Good knowledge of Python, especially for test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) or User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Strong understanding of HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing environments.
• Experience in defect/bug tracking and management tools.
• Experience in creating test plans, test cases, and test strategies. Soft Skills:
