The Mercedes-Benz Training Academy is looking for their next Technical Training Specialist to join the team based at our Training Centre in Mulgrave, Victoria.
The Role:
As a key player in our Training Academy, you'll be a brand ambassador, embodying our commitment to service excellence and sharing our enthusiasm for developing Retailer Automotive Technicians across Australia and New Zealand.
Key duties & responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver engaging Face-to-Face and Virtual Classroom training across various portfolios (Technical, Non-Technical, Process and Systems).
- Review and adapt training materials to suit the needs of the Australian/New Zealand market.
- Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the Training Centre, ensuring all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements are met.
- Participate in Train-the-Trainer events to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.
- Maintain Training Academy tooling, fleet, and equipment to ensure a premium training experience for learners.
- Provide assistance to the Training Academy team as needed.
- This role has a requirement for occasional domestic and international travel.
What you will need to be successful:
- Automotive Expertise: A relevant automotive trade qualification and a proven track record in the automotive sector.
- Training Experience: A demonstrated history of classroom based training delivery is preferred.
- Mercedes-Benz Experience: Familiarity with Mercedes-Benz products is desirable.
- Passion for Development: A strong drive for personal growth and learning.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management abilities to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Communication Proficiency: Outstanding communication skills and sound decision-making capabilities.
- Autonomous Work Ethic: Ability to work independently with the support of your team.
- Tech Savvy: Advanced knowledge of Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Adaptability: Embrace flexibility, agility, and adaptability.
