• Material Research & Documentation
  - Research new textile technologies, recycled material solutions, and latex-based leather alternatives.
  - Review academic literature, patents, and supplier innovations in sustainable materials.
  - Maintain a materials innovation database.

• Testing & Characterization Support 
  - Assist in preparing material samples for testing (mechanical, thermal, chemical, and sustainability tests).
  - Support lab-based testing under supervision (tensile strength, abrasion, VOC, recyclability, etc.).
  - Record, analyze, and interpret test data.
•  
• Sustainability Assessment
  - Contribute to LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) and GWP (Global Warming Potential) calculations for selected materials.
  - Compare baseline and alternative materials for environmental performance.
•  
• Project Support Activities
  - Support organize supplier samples, maintain test logs, and track progress of trials.
  - Prepare technical presentations and reports for internal stakeholders.
  - Support in building material property databases for future textile and recycled material topics.
•  
• Collaboration & Communication
  - Work with cross-functional teams including design, procurement, and sustainability groups.
  - Participate in brainstorming sessions for material substitution ideas.
  - Support in coordination with external labs and universities for specialized testing.
