Job Overview

We are looking for a BI Developer with 2 to 8 years of experience who will be responsible for designing various analytical reports on company data and delivering them to stakeholders. The role includes data product development, monitoring, and maintenance.

The candidate will work closely with business users to understand their requirements, create optimized queries to accommodate business needs, and present insights through reports. Additionally, the candidate will mentor other developers in the team on SQL optimization and help establish best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Write optimized SQL queries to generate accurate reports.
• Ensure performance and availability of data.

• Mentor team members on SQL best practices and query optimization.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Good understanding of relational databases.
• Skilled in optimizing large and complex SQL statements.
• Optional: Experience with code versioning tools such as Git.
• Knowledge of any reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Good to have (optional) Automotive Domain Knowledge, including:
  • Diagnostics Protocols (Onboard/Offboard) UDS/KWP 2000
  • Simulation tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, CAPL)
  • Flashing process and debugging skills
• Knowledge of the Mercedes-Benz portfolio is an added advantage.
• German language proficiency is necessary.

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Certifications in SQL, data analytics, or relevant BI tools will be an added advantage.

• Prior experience in the automotive industry or related domains.
• Familiarity with advanced data visualization and analytics.
• Exposure to global teams and multicultural work environments.
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
