Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI), headquartered in Bengaluru with a satellite office in Pune, is the largest R&D center for Mercedes-Benz Group AG outside of Germany. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable applications using SAP CAPM in Node.js or Java (Spring Boot).
• Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry.
• Integrate applications with PostgreSQL or other supported databases.
• Implement secure, performant APIs and business logic using CAP services.
• Ensure version control and collaboration using Git and tools like VSCode or SAP Business Application Studio (BAS).
• Collaborate with SAP architects, UI developers, and backend teams to build end-to-end solutions.
• Optimize application performance and ensure compliance with Mercedes-Benz security and development standards.

Mandatory Skills:

• Hands-on experience in SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM)
• Experience with SAP UI5 / Fiori Elements for front-end development
• Proficiency in Node.js or Java with Spring Boot within CAPM context
• SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) experience, specifically Cloud Foundry environment
• Strong understanding of OData services, CDS views, and CAP annotations
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases (SQL querying, schema design, indexing)
• Familiarity with VSCode, SAP BAS, Git/GitHub/GitLab

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines in SAP BTP environments
• Experience with SAP Destination and Connectivity services
• Understanding of SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) and Authorization concepts
