Job Description:
- 4-8 years of relevant experience in ServiceNow.
- Design, configure and customize ServiceNow platform for Mercedes Benz in one or more of the following modules:
- ITSM / ITOM, Service Request Management, Integrations, Custom reporting, Customer Service Management, Service Portal.
- Experience in working in an agile environment following agile practices.
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
- Have good knowledge about integrations to external tools.
- Solve complex business problems by engineering existing, and new algorithms.
- Experience developing custom applications within the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience in configuration of ITOM, ITBM modules , service requests portals, service catalogs etc.
- Experience in ServiceNow customizations including Server and Client Scripts, UI Action,workflow administration, data import etc.
- Hands on experience on web based languages (AngularJS 1.xx ,JavaScript, CSS, Jelly, XML, HTML and Glide).
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with other platforms (though APIs like SOAP / REST and other related applications.
- Experience in set up of ServiceNow integration (LDAP/SSO Email etc ).
- Experience in gathering requirements and implementing them.
- Experience in writing test cases, automated tests in ServiceNow.
- Modify, Add, Change Forms, Fields, UI Actions
- Administrative aspects of ServiceNow would be an added advantage.
Responsibilities include:
- Enhance and support the ServiceNow platform
- Integrate ServiceNow with other corporate applications via web services, mid server, email etc
- Prepare test cases, automate them and execution of test cases
- Translate design comps and other specifications into working code
- Build responsive web applications
- Develop middleware API calls for mobile/web applications
- Server side scripting in Apache/Jelly/ServiceNow proprietary
