Job Summary:
The automotive industry is undergoing disruption with significant changes in the technology and Innovation landscape. As a Manager for Internal Innovation, you will support the team in driving the initiatives towards strengthening the Innovation culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
· Stakeholder management and global coordination
· Closely working with Department Innovation Ambassadors & Innovation Management team towards driving the Innovation initiatives within the organization
· Drive events, campaigns, competence development programs to enhance Innovation quotient of the organization
· Support in digitalization & development of Innovation Management tool
· Interface with Business Leaders to monitor & report the Innovation KPIs
· Support strategic initiatives to accelerate Innovation & Intrapreneurship through activities including user desirability validation, MVP creation, market validation, business viability and go to market strategy.
· Work closely with business support functions towards contract management, Innovation branding etc.
Required Skills and Experience
· 10-15 years of experience managing strategic projects and innovation initiatives, preferably within the automotive or technology sectors.
· Strong stakeholder management skills with proven ability to work in globally distributed and cross-functional teams.
· Hands-on experience coordinating innovation programs, workshops, and campaigns to foster a culture of creativity and intrapreneurship.
· Experience supporting digitalization efforts and working with innovation management tools.
· Excellent analytical and reporting skills for tracking and communicating innovation KPIs to senior leadership.
· Ability to translate user and market insights into actionable innovation initiatives, including MVP development and go-to-market plans.
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Exceptional communication and presentation skills; fluency in English is mandatory.
· German language skills preferred to support collaboration with European stakeholders.
· Experience collaborating with business support functions such as legal and marketing for contract and brand management.
Educational Qualifications
MBA or Management graduate from a reputed management school.
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)
· Previous experience in innovation and technology management roles.
· Experience working in automotive OEMs, suppliers, or technology startups focused on innovation and digital transformation.
· Familiarity with design thinking, lean startup methodology, and agile innovation processes.
· Hands-on experience with user desirability validation, market research, and business viability assessment.
· Exposure to innovation ecosystems including hubs, incubators, or accelerators.
· German language proficiency (B1 level or above).
· Knowledge of intellectual property (IP) management and contract negotiation.
· Experience in branding and internal communication strategies to nurture innovation culture.
