Objective
Analyze China political and business environment, automotive industrial policies, geopolitical & trade issues; develop lobby strategy to support corporate position; solve operational issues by communicating with relevant authorities; organize events to support brand image.
Tasks
1. External stakeholder management and Advocacy
1) Develop advocacy strategy to communicate with relevant authorities
2) Communicate with external stakeholders to advocate for corporate benefits
3) Manage internal cross-function projects to form MB position and to support business operation
2. Policy analysis and regulatory premise setting
1) Analyze policy development related to political and business environment, geopolitical and trade issues
2) Communicate with external stakeholders to contribute insights in corporate strategy and business plan
3. Events management
1) Organize events and political meetings, develop event concept and engagement plans
2) Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders to ensure proper MB presence and enhance MB brand image
3) Draft briefing book, talking points, and other materials for the event and meetings
- University degree, preferably a Master’s degree, in economics, politics, or relevant
- Minimum10 years of working experience coupled with solid knowledge about the Chinese government policy environment and automotive industry business environment
- Strong analytic capability, strong writing skills, interpersonal communication skills, and abilities to learn new things
- Solid connections and experiences with automotive related gov. departments and associations
- Fluent in English – both spoken and written, German language is a plus
