Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive complex SAP BW & BW on HANA solution design across multiple business workstreams.
• Provide architectural leadership in LSA++, data modelling standards, and performance optimization.
• Lead and review solution design for hybrid scenarios involving native HANA models (Calculation Views, CDS Views) and BW models.
• Drive best practices for BW ABAP development, including reusable frameworks (AMDP, Procedures, ABAP CDS, Classes, Routines).
• Translate cross-functional business requirements into scalable technical architectures.
• Lead end-to-end project cycles: requirement gathering, functional analysis, HLD, LLD, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
• Guide junior team members on development standards, performance tuning, and solution integrity.
• Provide thought leadership and technical governance for a complex SAP BW landscape integrated with multiple SAP/Non-SAP systems.
• Work on AFO reporting (macros knowledge required); exposure to SAC is an advantage.
• Drive BW Integrated Planning (IP) architecture and optimizations for planning applications.
• Ensure delivery excellence in Agile Scrum projects—sprint planning, estimations, prioritization, and review.
• Collaborate with functional team (Finance) to design robust E2E solutions.
• Provide expert guidance during Month-End Closing (MEC) and critical business cycles.
• Manage issue resolution and enhancements through Jira/ServiceNow with ownership of SLAs.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering discipline such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical, or related fields 

         Experience: 8–12+ years

Must-Have Skills

• Deep, hands-on expertise in SAP BW, BW on HANA, and BW ABAP at an architectural level.
• Advanced knowledge of LSA++, hybrid modelling, native HANA modelling, CDS Views, performance optimization.
• Strong technical leadership and solution architecture skills.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale, complex BW programs.
• Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Good understanding of Integrated Planning.
• Knowledge in Finance and month end related processes.
