Key Responsibilities:
· Design and develop business analytics solutions with a focus on inventory management, forecasting, and KPI modeling.
· Build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to support supply chain and inventory decision-making.
· Utilize forecasting techniques and predictive analytics to support demand planning and inventory optimization.
· Translate business requirements into analytical models and visualizations for end-users across multiple departments.
· Monitor and analyze inventory KPIs such as stock turnover, fill rate, order lead time, and aging inventory.
· Identify trends and patterns in historical data to support accurate forecasting and business strategy.
· Ensure high-performance and scalable reporting solutions through best practices in data modeling and report design.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and translate them into actionable dashboards.
· Ensure data quality and consistency across inventory and operations reports.
· Implement data automation and scheduling for recurring reports and forecasting updates.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to solution design.
Required Skills & Experience:
Relevant Experience Required: 2 years to 5 years
Essential Skills:
- Strong experience in Power BI for dashboarding, report automation, DAX, and Power Query.
- Knowledge of business analytics concepts in inventory management, including ABC analysis, safety stock, reorder point analysis, and demand-supply metrics.
- Practical experience in forecasting methods, including time series, regression, and moving averages.
- Ability to work with large datasets and build optimized data models for performance reporting.
- Familiarity with data integration tools or ETL processes to connect Power BI to various data sources. Databricks knowledge would be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel for data analysis and preprocessing.
Educational Qualifications
· BE in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or similar relevant field
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)
- Understanding of supply chain or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate – Power BI.
