Position Overview:

Hands-on SAP ABAP / S/4HANA Technical Consultant with 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, enhancing and supporting SAP solutions across traditional ABAP and modern S/4HANA technologies.

Strong expertise in RICEFW development, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms and Workflows, with solid experience in ABAP Objects, OData, CDS Views, RAP, Gateway and S/4HANA development.

Experienced in modern SAP extensibility and Clean Core principles, with exposure to SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), SAP Event Mesh, SAP Workflow and BRF+.

Exposure to SAP Joule and AI-assisted development is an added advantage, particularly for code generation, explanation, modernization, testing and developer productivity.

Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on development mindset, capable of analyzing complex requirements, building POCs, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with functional, architecture, integration and business teams.

Job Decription

·       Develop and maintain SAP ABAP solutions for S/4HANA environments.

·       Analyze business requirements and convert them into scalable technical solutions.

·       Develop RICEFW objects including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.

·       Develop reusable ABAP classes, function modules, reports, APIs, and enhancement implementations.

·       Design and develop CDS Views and OData services for S/4HANA and Fiori applications.

·       Design and develop applications using RAP and Fiori Elements.

·       Analyze legacy custom code and identify modernization opportunities.

·       Implement solutions following SAP Clean Core principles using released APIs, CDS Views, BAdIs and extension points.

·       Develop POCs using RAP, CAP and SAP BTP.

·       Support integration scenarios using APIs, RFC, IDoc, OData and event-based integration.

·       Troubleshoot performance and production issues using debugging and performance analysis tools.

·       Perform ATC analysis and resolve code quality and S/4HANA readiness findings.

·       Participate in technical design, estimation, code reviews, testing, deployment and production support.

·       Collaborate with functional consultants, solution architects, integration teams and business stakeholders.
