Objective of job:
1. Extract, process, and validate sales data from data lakes and databases using data analysis tools or scripting methods (SQL, database, & etc.) to support sales reporting and performance tracking;
2. Prepare accurate and timely sales reports to support sales steering;
3. Assist in market trend analysis and ad-hoc topics analysis ;
4. Presentation preparation for sales related topics;
5. Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure data integrity and accessibility for sales reporting.
Task description:
1. Data Extraction & Processing
- Extract sales data from data sources using appropriate tools or scripts
- Cleanse and validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Maintain data extraction processes and scripts (where applicable)
2. Sales Reporting & Dashboards
- Responsible for in-time and accurate operational report and analysis for central and region sales & marketing (daily reports)
- Proactively reporting on sales KPIs include but not limited to sales pace, RT/WS TA achievement, showroom traffic, order performance and sales funnel on different data granularities
- Month-end/year-end retail landing result delivery
- Leading interpretation of business requirements to create dashboards, analysis, reports, and other data visualizations that provide business insight
3. Basic Market & Sales Analysis
- Assist in analyzing market trends and sales performance based on extracted data
- Support tactical teams with data for ad-hoc analysis
- Help prepare presentation materials with reliable data inputs
4. Process & Data Governance
- Document data extraction and reporting processes
- Work with IT to improve data structures and reporting efficiency
- Ensure compliance with data security and governance policies.
- Bachelor degree or above, preferably in Data Science, Business, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Practical experience in using data analysis tools or scripting for data extraction and processing (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel Power Query, Tableau Prep, Alteryx, or similar).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- English level-CET 6 and above.
- 2 years’ experience in data extraction, reporting, or analysis; automotive or sales industry background preferred.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy.
