Objective of job
- Define TEV sales plan on monthly basis, ensure adequate and timely market supply and exploitation of market potentials for TEV in conformity with market requirements, under consideration of seasonal fluctuations and by analysis of actual sales performance and planning data.
- Assist in preparation of planning related reports for management and key counterparts
- Coordination of sales incentive payout process with Sales Incentive Central Checking Office (SICCO)
- Other related topics/projects in sales management
Job designation/Field of work:
1. Volume Planning
- Monthly Short-Term Planning (Kufri/ISP): prepare and execute monthly planning under consideration of optimum market exploitation, target achievement, stock/pipeline- situation and production, incl. preparation and execution of “Kufri Meetings”
- Chance/risk -analysis, target monitoring
- Report, analysis and evaluation of planning situation
- Provide sales planning related input/volume scenarios for product management
- Provide sales planning related input for financial analysis and planning
- Get alignment with key stakeholders regarding sales planning proposal and other related topics
- Prepare and execute yearly Mercedes-Benz Business Plan
- Cooperate and actively involve in BMBS/TEV projects in terms of sales volume related topics
- Participate and represent sales and marketing in projects related to sales planning/ reporting/ order management: content and process
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting on requests for other departments
2. Management Reporting
- Presentation and evaluation of TEV sales plan / production requirements & production program, stock development
- Preparation of planning related reports to management (weekly/monthly & ad-hoc):
presentation files and reports update for management usage, such as Kufri summary, Kufri package, etc.
3. AMG Sales Sales Incentive Payout
- Coordinate with SICCO, responsible for all incentive program claim checking
- Cooperate with internal and external auditors and be responsible for follow up action
- Analyse and report SI budget usage status and key sales incentive program result
Qualification:
- Skills –general skills, personality traits:
Good level of understanding of the automotive business, preferably Mercedes-Benz (or other brands) in China
High level of organization skills, ability to think logically and attention to details
Possess a positive, self-motivated attitude (can-do mentaility)
Excellent oral communication skills with sound problem solving abilities (tactful and diplomatic)
Excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English, Good communication skills
Willingness to learn and thinking/doing “out of the box”
- Functionality Skills – Process and technical skills:
High proficiency in Microsoft applications, esp. Excel
Knowledge/experience in project management are preferable
Knowledge/experience in MB systems and processes (e.g. procurement) are preferable
Management and leadership skills:
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving thinking
High level of ability to work both independently and as a team player with strong sense of responsibility
High ability to work under time pressure
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Experience and education:
At least 3 years’ experience in auto sales and marketing operation, dealer management or preferably experience with dealer management.
