Job Description for Product Data Management Activity & Design support for Automotive Plastics and Sheet Metal Brackets
Education & Training:
B.E (Mechanical / Production),
Relevant Experience Required:
About 2-6 years of experience in Product Data Management (Release and Engineering Change Management) and know-how of Product Design & Development in Automotive Plastics and Sheet Metal components/Brackets & Must have had worked with Global Companies (German OEMs/Tier 1s preferred)
Skill Requirements:
Knowhow of Product Data Management (Release) Activity,
Knowledge of Change Management, Variants Control & BOM management
Experience in Daimler Norms and DBL standards, DIALOG and SMARAGD will be an advantage
Experience on Packaging, Design of Automotive Plastic/ Sheet metal components
Intercultural Experience: Minimum one years of Onsite experience or working exposure in Europe/ European clients. Must be able to interact with the German teams.
German Language will be an added advantage.
Must be a Team Player; should have the attitude to work with the team & also shoulder individual responsibility wherever needed
Microsoft office skills with good Excel knowledge, power point presentation
Knowhow of Tooling/Manufacturing/Prototyping
Know how CAD Software Unigraphics NX/ Catia and Teamcenter
Job Responsibilities:
Releasing the Electronics & Mechanical Parts through PLM Tool & Support in Change Management
Co-ordination & Technical Reviews with onsite Engineers & Cross functional departments
Supplier Data (2D & 3D) Validation and uploading in PLM
Perform Product Data Management tasks based on customer requirement
Design and Development support of Automotive Plastic & Sheet metal components/Brackets using Unigraphics NX as per requirement
Seamless integration with the Team in India & Germany
Assist team leader to achieve company goals / objectives
