As a Finance Operations Center for the AG and its subsidiaries, we offer innovative solutions in the areas of finance and controlling. These are your tasks:
- Professional and disciplinary management of approx. 15 employees
- Recruitment of team, capacity management and personnel deployment planning
- Procurement management, month-end closing preparations and goods receipt posting for departments of the Mercedes-Benz Group and various subsidiaries in Germany and abroad
- Within the area of responsibility, ensuring that order documents are checked for formal and guideline-compliant correctness and creating purchase requisitions in SAP (MM module)
- Further development and updates of required process documentation for the processes and establishment of stable knowledge management
- Further development of a work organization and establishment of a cooperation model with process management and purchasing department (IPS)
- Regular exchange with the respective business partners regarding contract content and procurement topics, including expansion of the service portfolio
- Managing the operational area of responsibility based on meaningful key figures and reporting to divisional management
- Active promotion of continuous improvement processes (CIP)

- Education: Degree in economics (Uni/FH/BA) or comparable training/
- Initial management experience (technical and disciplinary), ideally in an accounting/purchasing function
- Several years of professional experience in accounting/purchasing and experience in the independent management of companies as well as the preparation of methodically sound accounting documents and work instructions
- Confident handling of MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook), ideally experience in SAP S4H
- Good knowledge of German as well as good written and spoken English
- Individuality: Appreciation, empathy and enthusiasm for working with people, diligence, even with a temporarily high workload
- Ability to work independently and responsibly, ability to understand and analyze processes quickly
- Communication and teamwork skills as well as flexibility
